Little Helen Keller was curious and eager to learn. She was not yet two years old when an illness left her deaf and blind. Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated young teacher, Helen learned different ways to communicate with others. She became the first blind and deaf person to earn a university degree and publish a book. Helen has spent her life traveling the world advocating for the rights of people with disabilities.
